Introduction to Woodworking - Build Your Own Brush
In this practical introductory course, you will have the opportunity to learn how to work safely and efficiently with the machines and tools in the woodworking shop. The course is designed for beginners who want to become familiar with woodworking, and it combines theory with practical experience.
Content:
Machine Learning and Safety: You will learn to operate the most essential machines in the woodworking shop, including the jointer/thickness planer, table saw, miter saw, drill press, and router, with a focus on safety and correct techniques.
Design and Manufacturing: As part of the course, you will design and build your own table brush. We will guide you through the process from selecting materials to the finished product.
Materials: If you wish, you can bring your own brush bristles. However, if you do not want to use your own locks, your dog’s, or your partner’s hair, the course fee will include all necessary materials.
Duration: The course contains two sessions. October 30th and November 6th from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Goal: After the course, you will be able to work safely in a woodworking shop and have built a unique, handmade brush.
