Introduction - 3D filament print

To use FabLab’s machines, you must first attend our introductory courses. In this introductory course, Mehmet will introduce you to our 3D filament printer. The 3D printer uses a thin thread of thermoplastic material, called filament, to create three-dimensional objects. The filament is heated and extruded through a nozzle, which moves according to a digital model, layer by layer, until the desired object is complete.

For inspiration, you can use the 3D printer to make: prototypes, custom spare parts for machinery and equipment, art, and design.
